Planning before decoration.
Plain Measure is an independent practice focused on the practical structure of residential interiors: room layouts, storage systems and furniture planning.
The work starts with ordinary questions. What happens first when someone enters a room? Which objects are used every day? What needs two hands to lift? Which doors open at the same time? The answers shape the plan before finishes and decoration enter the conversation.
Scope
Typical studies include compact homes, kitchens, wardrobes, utility rooms, entry storage and custom built-in furniture. Each project is treated as a small system of movement, access and capacity.
Approach
Drawings are kept clear and measurable. Recommendations are based on usable dimensions, opening clearances and realistic reach rather than visual symmetry alone.
